The magic of earth, water and sky
Given that STRNIŠA’s poetry is classified as post-symbolism, that the themes of his works are existential, that he deals with obsession, suffering, death, life on the verge of collapse, madness, that the metaphysics of cosmology is present in all his works, and that he himself speaks of cosmic consciousness. .. then we have much in common with a sensorial theatrical poetics based on the collective unconscious, synchronicity, mythology and symbols. Strniša himself draws on ancient myths, medieval stories and fairy tale characters. It is therefore not a classical stage production, but a production with elements of sensorial theatre, involving sound, darkness and smells, opening up a space for the individual and collective unconscious.
