The play is inspired by romantic novels, such as: Pride and Prejudice, Ana Karenina, Dracula, Sense and Sensibility, Wuthering Heights, Dangerous Liaisons, Othello, The Scarlet Letter, The Phantom of the Opera, The Count of Monte Christo. Authors: Jane Austen, Choderlos de Laclos, Emily Brontë, William Shakespeare, Alexandre Dumas, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Nikolai Gogol, Daphne du Maurier, Gaston Leroux, Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy.

In CAFE FATAL every visitor can experience a role of a character from a romantic novel or a movie. The context of such a playful atmosphere is provided by Cafe fatal protocol of a nice evening in a cafe bar. Every person has their own romantic or social role, as well as some special tasks. The atmosphere is nice, cosy; the company of fellow characters is kind, secure and playful. Roles are divided between more active, such as hero characters, and more passive, such as assistants and counsellors of active roles. The evening in Cafe fatal gives literary characters an opportunity to have an evening outside their story, to find their own destiny with other characters, to be free from their author’s storyline; at least for a few hours in Cafe fatal bar in the 21st century.
